Founded in 1947, the 糖心Vlog has a long and proud history as a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of pharmaceutical and packaging machinery. What began as Adelphi Manufacturing Company Limited in offices just off The Strand in London has evolved into a multi-division group serving customers across the UK and around the world.聽
Over more than 75 years, Adelphi has grown through steady expansion, strategic acquisitions and long-standing partnerships with leading global equipment manufacturers. From early moves within London to the establishment of specialist healthcare packaging, stainless steel process equipment, and precision engineering divisions, each milestone reflects a commitment to innovation, quality and customer-focused solutions.聽
Still family-owned today, the Adelphi Group operates from its modern headquarters in Haywards Heath, bringing together advanced manufacturing facilities, engineering expertise and a personal approach that has defined the business for generations.聽聽
Modern, Purpose-Built & Award-Winning
Our modern, purpose-built facility spans three buildings and approximately 3,700鈥痬虏 on a one-hectare site, our facilities combine decades of heritage with cutting-edge production, testing and distribution capabilities.
- The Strand, named after our original 1947 home in London鈥檚 Strand, is where the main offices, customer showroom and machine servicing teams are located. It is the centre of our Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and reflects our long-standing focus on innovation and precision.
- The Friary, inspired by the historic Friary Meux brewery in Guildford, is the large鈥憇cale production hall with twelve active build stations. With solar power, rainwater harvesting and efficient lighting, it is an award鈥憌inning sustainable facility built for world鈥慶lass manufacturing.
- The Sheldonian, echoing the classical Oxford landmark, houses the warehouse hub and specialist cleanrooms. It supports our division and embodies our commitment to precision and reliability across medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
